Anthony Weiner or carlos Dander

Former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner is now being accused of trading inappropriate messages–including another explicit image–with a 22-year-old woman shortly after he resigned from Congress over a extramarital sexting scandal in June 2011. He has not denied the allegation.
At a news conference late Tuesday afternoon at Gay Men’s Health Crisis headquarters, an HIV-advocacy organization, in New York City, Weiner largely reiterated his earlier statement with his wife, Huma Abedin, by his side. He added that he was “surprised that more things haven’t come out sooner.”
“Some of these things happened before my resignation, some of them happened after,” Weiner said. “But the fact is that was also the time that my wife and I were working through some things in our marriage.”
Weiner said he will not withdraw from the mayoral race and will continue to campaign with his wife. “I want to bring my vision to the people of the city of New York. I hope they’re willing to still continue to give me a second chance, and I hope that they realize in many ways what happened today was something that frankly had happened before, but it doesn’t represent all that much that is new.”
His wife, a longtime aide to Hillary Clinton, spoke at her first press conference and said that her husband’s resignation marked “the beginning of a time in our marriage that was very difficult and it took us a very long time to get through it.”
“It look a lot of work and a whole lot of therapy to get to a place where I could forgive Anthony. It was not an easy choice in any way but I made the decision that it was worth staying in this marriage,” Abedin said.
She also admitted that her husband “made some horrible mistakes, both before he resigned from Congress and after.”
Weiner also confirmed that he was still sending sexually explicit messages even after People magazine published a profile on him and his wife. A reporter asked him when was the last time he sent an explicit message. “Um, I can’t say exactly,” Weiner replied. “Sometime last summer, I think.”
The same reporter followed up and asked if the last message was sent after his wife told People, “It took a lot of work to get to where are are today, but I want people to know we’re a normal family.” The couple both nodded and Weiner said, “Yes, yes.”
A nightlife website, TheDirty.com, disclosed a series of lewd chat messages on Monday allegedly sent by Weiner, who used the handle “Carlos Danger,” to a woman in August 2012. The website’s founder, Nik Richie, has also published an explicit photograph and a timeline of the scandal according to the anonymous woman.
The screenshots of the conversations were taken from Facebook and the social network Formspring. Richie has said he has been in contact with the young woman. According to the Richie’s source, the woman maintained a relationship on the Internet and phone for six months after being pursued by Anthony Weiner through Facebook.

Anthony Weiner found himself caught in another sexting scandal Tuesday like the one that destroyed his congressional career, but stood side-to-side with his wife to say that he will remain in the race for mayor of New York City.
“This is entirely behind me,” Weiner said at news conference, just hours after he confirmed exchanging a newly disclosed round of sexually explicit photos and text messages with a woman online.
At the news conference, he acknowledged some of the activity took place after he resigned from the House two years ago for the same sort of behavior.
The new lewd correspondence was posted Monday by the gossip website The Dirty. The woman involved was not identified.
Weiner turned the microphone over to his wife, Huma Abedin, who reaffirmed her support for her husband and said the matter is “between us.”
“I love him. I have forgiven him. And as we have said from the beginning, we are moving forward,” said Abedin, a longtime adviser to former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The allegation could severely test voters’ willingness to forgive Weiner, who has said he spent the two years since the scandal trying to make things right with his wife and earn redemption. Three of his rivals for mayor immediately called on Weiner to drop out of the race.
The 48-year-old Democrat, who resigned his House seat in June 2011 after acknowledging having sexual conversations with at least a half-dozen women, has been near the top of most mayoral polls since his late entry into the race this spring.
“I said that other texts and photos were likely to come out and today they have,” Weiner said in a statement issued by his campaign earlier in the day. “I want to again say that I am very sorry to anyone who was on the receiving end of these messages and the disruption this has caused.”
The woman with whom he exchanged the messages told The Dirty that she was 22 when she began chatting with Weiner on the social networking site Formspring. She said their online relationship began in July 2012 and lasted for six months.
She claimed Weiner used the alias “Carlos Danger” for their exchanges, but she knew she was talking to the former congressman.
The exchanges posted on The Dirty consist of sexually explicit fantasizing about various sex acts. At one point, the man reported to be Weiner wrote, “I’m deeply flawed.”
The woman said Weiner promised to help her get a job at the political website Politico and suggested meeting in a Chicago condo for a tryst.
The woman claimed that she and Weiner exchanged nude photos of themselves and engaged in frequent phone sex. The Dirty ran a pixelated photo of what appears to be a man’s genitals.
“This was a bad situation for me because I really admired him. E

NEW YORK -- New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner admitted on Tuesday to sending additional sexually explicit photos and texts to a woman he met online -- an exchange she says began more than a year after he resigned from Congress for similar behavior.
The allegation could severely test voters' willingness to forgive Weiner, who has said he spent the two years since the scandal trying to make things right with his wife and earn redemption. Three of his rivals for mayor immediately called on Weiner to drop out of the race.
Weiner, who resigned his House seat in June 2011 after acknowledging having sexual conversations with at least a half-dozen women, has been near the top of most mayoral polls since his late entry into the race this spring.
The newly revealed X-rated correspondence was posted Monday by the gossip website The Dirty. The woman involved was not identified.
"I said that other texts and photos were likely to come out and today they have," Weiner said in a statement issued by his campaign. "I want to again say that I am very sorry to anyone who was on the receiving end of these messages and the disruption this has caused."
The 48-year-old Democrat did not say when the exchanges occurred, but he said his behavior created "challenges in our marriage that extended past my resignation."
From the beginning of his mayoral bid, Weiner has said that he learned from his mistakes and that his wife -- Huma

adviser to Hillary Rodham Clinton -- was the driving force behind his comeback attempt.
The woman, who told the website she was 22 when she began chatting with Weiner on the social networking site Formspring, said their online relationship began in July 2012 and lasted for six months. She claimed Weiner used the alias "Carlos Danger" for their exchanges, but she knew she was talking to the former congressman.
She said Weiner promised to help her get a job at the political website Politico and suggested meeting in a Chicago condo for a tryst.
The exchanges posted on The Dirty consist of sexually explicit fantasizing about various sex acts. At one point, the man reported to be Weiner wrote, "I'm deeply flawed."
The woman claimed that she and Weiner exchanged nude photos of themselves and engaged in frequent phone sex. The Dirty ran a pixelated photo of what appears to be a man's genitals.
"This was a bad situation for me because I really admired him. Even post scandal, I thought he was misunderstood. Until I got to know him. I thought I loved him. Pretty pathetic," the woman was quoted as telling the website.
She said he later asked her to destroy the evidence of their chats. She insisted that she never had sex with Weiner or received any payment from him.
The woman claimed her relationship with Weiner "fizzled" in November 2012. She said she last heard from him this past April, when his intention to run for mayor was first revealed in a New York Times Magazine profile.
"This behavior is behind me," Weiner said in his statement Tuesday. "I apologized to Huma and am grateful that she has worked through these issues with me and for her forgiveness."
He also said that "some things posted today are true and some are not," but he did not elaborate.
Weiner's campaign spokeswoman did not respond to requests to clarify the timing of the newly revealed exchange. Weiner's campaign announced a late-afternoon news conference. He was also expected to attend a mayoral forum later Tuesday evening.
His wife, who was pregnant when the sexting scandal broke in 2011 and gave birth months later, has played a large and increasing role in his mayoral campaign. She made an appearance in his campaign kick-off video, has led his fundraising effort and recently made her debut on the campaign trail. Two weekends ago, she walked hand-in-hand with Weiner as they talked to voters on a Harlem street.
Two of his mayoral rivals -- Public Advocate Bill de Blasio and former City Councilman Sal Albanese, both Democrats, and billionaire John Catsimatidis, a Republican -- quickly called on Weiner to abandon his quest for office, as did a lesser candidate in the race.
"Enough is enough," said de Blasio. "The sideshows of this election have gotten in the way of the debate we should be having about the future of this city."
Another mayoral hopeful, city Comptroller John Liu, stopped short of calling for Weiner to bow out, but suggested his "propensity for pornographic selfies is a valid issue for voters."
The other leading Democratic candidates, including City Council Speaker Christine Quinn and former City Comptroller Bill Thompson, did not immediately comment on the new revelations.
The disclosure suddenly puts Weiner's indiscretions, judgment and candor back in the forefront of his campaign and could test voters' confidence in him, political analysts said.
Some voters have said they felt Weiner had atoned for his past and were willing to give him a second chance. But a third, after hearing allegations that his misbehavior continued after his resignation?
"It makes it tougher to believe this is behind him," said Democratic former state Assemblyman Michael Benjamin, now a political consultant.
But given the corps of voters who have shown willingness to forgive Weiner's prior behavior, the latest revelation may not be a campaign knockout, said Jerry Skurnik, a longtime Democratic consultant who is not working with any mayoral candidates this year.
"At best, it's a minor negative" that will turn off some voters, he said. "The question is whether it's a major negative" -- and whether there were enough forgiving voters to begin with for Weiner to win.
Some New Yorkers were disappointed by the news that Weiner had apparently continued his online activities even after leaving office.
"I think he had a chance to redeem himself and if he did it twice, he really betrayed the public's trust again," said Jeremy Green, 22. "I think he's past the point of no return for New Yorkers."
The revelations come just two weeks after another scandal-scarred candidate, former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, announced his own attempt at political redemption. Spitzer, who resigned in 2008 after admitting to paying for sex with prostitutes, is running for city comptroller.
A spokeswoman for Spitzer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Weiner's problems began in May 2011, when a website run by conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart posted a photograph of a man's bulging underwear and said it had been sent from Weiner's Twitter account to a Seattle woman. Weiner denied he sent the photo, claiming his Twitter had been hacked.
But after more women came forward and more photographic evidence emerged, Weiner admitted he lied.
He then entered two years of self-imposed political exile, only to return this spring.
Under a huge media spotlight, he apologized repeatedly for his behavior in the initial days of his bid but then pivoted quickly into an issues-based campaign. He was largely well-received by voters and quickly established himself as a favorite in the race.

blogger make money online

1. Join an Advertising Program

There are many advertising programs available for bloggers to join.  One of the most popular online advertising programs and possibly the easiest to set up on your blog is Google AdSense, which offers a variety of pay-per-click text, display, and video advertising opportunities for bloggers.  With a bit of effort, experimenting, and tweaking you can definitely make some money with Google AdSense.

2. Join an Affiliate Advertising Program

There are many companies that offer programs that enable you to sign up as an affiliate of that company and earn money.  Amazon Associates is one of the most popular and easiest affiliate advertising programs for bloggers to use.

3. Join an Affiliate Advertising Network

There are a number of affiliate advertising networks that link online advertisers with publishers (such as bloggers).  Commission Junction is one of the most popular affiliate advertising networks.

5. Publish Posts and Reviews for Pay

You can write blog posts on your own blog in exchange for pay, and there are several Web sites that link online publishers (such as bloggers) up with companies and individuals who want their products and services reviewed or discussed online.  Just be sure to understand how to safely publish a paid post or sponsored review on your blog, so you don't negatively affect your blog's traffic.

6. Sell Merchandise

make money online

Making money online used to pretty much require you to have your own Web site, products to sell and some marketing savvy. But a new generation of dot-coms have arisen that will pay you for what you know and who you know without you having to be a web designer or a marketing genius.
But it's hard to tell hype from the real deal. I did a search on "make money online" and "making money online", and much of the information out there is just promoting various infoproducts, mostly about Internet marketing. I see why people sometimes ask, "Is anyone making money online besides Internet marketing experts?"
So I put together a list of business opportunities with legitimate companies that:
  • Pay cash, not just points towards rewards or a chance to win money
  • Don't require you to have your own Web domain or your own products
  • Don't involve any hard-selling
  • Aren't just promoting more Internet marketing
  • Give a good return on your time investment
In the interest of objectivity, none of the links below are affiliate links, and none of them have paid or provided any other consideration for their presence here. These are legitimate companies with business models that allow you to get paid for a wide range of activities.

SEO check list

So you started a blog on Blogspot, but you’re not seeing the level of traffic for which you’d hoped. Are you going to have to give up your dreams of blogging for a living, or at least making a nice side income from your writing? Maybe not. This article will show you a few ways to improve your visibility in the search engines, and hopefully your traffic.

Background
You can easily get a blog from www.blogger.com , popularly known as “Blogspot.” It is the most famous blogging platform. No wonder most blogs are using the Google blogger platform; it is very easy to set up and FREE!
With a free account comes one weakness, however: the default blogger is highly unfriendly to search engines. If you are a blogger reading this article, it will help you to address the SEO issues of your blogs. Being highly unfriendly to search engines means LOW RANKING = LOW TRAFFIC = LOW BLOG INCOME.
It is every blogger’s dream to earn a high income through blogging. The best way to do this is to get a lot of traffic coming from search engines, particularly Google. You cannot obtain a high level of traffic if your blog posts are not well ranked in the search engines.
This checklist is aimed at Google. The advice in this article should be easy to apply even if you are not tech savvy. In short, what you will find in this article is do-it-yourself SEO advice that can save you hundreds to thousands of dollars hiring SEO firms or consultants. Yes, I am serious.
Before you can implement this diagnostic checklist, make sure you comply with the following basic requirements:
  1. Your content is original, marketable and written to a specific targeted audience, which can be easily understood and applied.
  2. You have the time to update your blog on a periodic basis. It does not matter whether it will be daily, weekly or monthly blog updates.
  3. You know what I’m talking about when I refer to Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics; furthermore, you have registered your blog using those tools.
  4. You are using the Google Blogger Classic Template. The current/default or new version of Blogger does not give you the full control of its source code template that will be used to initiate SEO improvements. If you are using the Beta version, switch to the Classic version before you try to implement the actions on the checklist.
  5. You should back up your blogger template source code before making any alterations. By this, I mean that you should copy and paste all source HTML into a notepad file, and then save it to your desktop. If things go wrong, you can copy and paste this backup source code to your template.
The title is the single most important SEO element in your blog. It is mainly useful for three reasons:
  1. Search engines put more ranking weight on a more descriptive, accurate and relevant title.
  2. Visitors coming from any traffic source on the Internet (such as forums, other blogs, social networking sites and search engines) tend to click more on relevant titles.
  3. Visitors tend to like your blog if your post titles are unique and relevant. This will result in more blog followers or readers.
Therefore, it is of primary importance to make your title accurate, descriptive and relevant.
In Google, there are three primary specifications that are important for a title tag:
  1. The suggested maximum number of characters in a title should not be more than 65 characters. So it is good to check the number of characters in your post title to make sure it will not exceed this amount.
  2. Never spam the title tag. Do not stuff keywords in it; not only will redundant keywords make no sense, but keyword stuffing will result in a penalty which is hard to get rid of and cost you time while you try to regain your rankings.
  3. Make it directly relevant to the page topic, and see to it that the title is captivating to read while being both specific and relevant.
Replace the existing title tag code in the source code template with this:
<title><MainPage><$BlogTitle$></MainPage><ArchivePage><$BlogPageTitle$></ArchivePage>
<itempage><blogger><$BlogItemTitle$></blogger></itempage></title>
To accomplish this, simply go to Dashboard and click the “Template” of your selected blog. Find the title tag indicated by:
<title>This is your old title</title>
Replace this entire line with:
<title><MainPage><$BlogTitle$></MainPage><ArchivePage><$BlogPageTitle$></ArchivePage>
<itempage><blogger><$BlogItemTitle$></blogger></itempage></title>
After that, click “Save Template Changes.”
This is not a highly important ranking factor, but it’s still an important checklist. The meta description is highly responsible for “clicks” from any search engine. Note here that I’m talking about “clicks,” not “rank” or “view.” In technical terms, view is also called “impressions.”
Meta descriptions are important. If your meta description is RELEVANT and directly shows a snippet that is related to what the searcher is looking for, the searcher is more likely to click through and read the whole post.
Thus, we can see that a simple searcher in the Google results will become a visitor to your blog after clicking on the search results.
Again, in Google, below are the important guidelines you need to follow whey you formulate a meta description for every post.
  1. The suggested maximum number of characters should be around 160. This is to ensure that the meta description you intended to show to visitors can be completely shown by search engines. (They will truncate if it exceeds around 160 characters).
  2. It should be different from the meta description on other pages, or it will not be friendly to search engines or users.
  3. Meta descriptions should reflect the page topic.
To optimize the meta descriptions in Blogger, copy and paste the following code into the template:

<MainPage><meta name="description" content="<$BlogDescription$>" /></MainPage><ArchivePage><meta name="description"content="<$BlogPageTitle$> Archive, <$BlogDescription$>" /></ArchivePage><ItemPage><meta name="description" content="<Blogger><$BlogItemTitle$></Blogger> – <$BlogTitle$>" /></ItemPage>

Insert it below the <title> tag section of the template source code.
Also, you must tweak your front page meta description by going to Dashboard—Settings—Basic—and changing the text under the “Description” fields.
It should comply with the above guidelines. Basically this description is the one that is returned by
<$BlogDescription$>
This is one of the most influential search engine ranking factors. Google places much more emphasis on the keywords in links more than in other places.
This can be done by using the keywords in the anchor text. In Google Blogger there are basically two approach that are important.
First approach: Blog front page targeted keywords
It is important that all of your posts link to your front page. Using this setup will give the front page the highest number of internal links, so it becomes more important to rank for the selected front page targeted keywords only (not the ones targeted by your post).
Second approach: Actual post URLs keyword in the title
Long tail traffic goes to your post. This means that the post titles themselves are sets of keyword phrases for which someone may be searching in the search engines. For example, a post title might be a phrase such as “How to Record Audio using your Laptop." It is important that these phrases should be in hyperlinks and point to the actual post URL. This is in order for the post’s URL to rank in Google, and not other URLs in your blog, or the blog front page which is common.
Below I explain the tweaks you will need to make for each approach to work.
For the First approach
To make links point to the main page/front page of your blog from all URLs in the blog, you need to use the footer section of the classic blogger template.
Find the code in your blogger template and replace the information contained within <p> (colored red only) with your preferences:
<!– Begin #footer –>

<div id="footer"><div><div><hr />

<p><a href= "http://thisisyourbloghomepageURL.blogspot.com/" ><fontsize=2>Back to Replace this with your main targeted keyword Homepage</font></a> Copyright &copy; 2008 Yourname . All Rights Reserved</p>

</div></div></div>

<!– End #footer –>

For example, your blog’s home page URL is http://neverbeenlost.blogspot.com/ and your targeted keywords are “Secrets to Winning” and “Nothing is Impossible.” Therefore, your footer source code in the template should look like this:

<!– Begin #footer –>

<div id="footer"><div><div><hr />

<p><a href=”http://neverbeenlost.blogspot.com /” ><fontsize=2>Back to Secrets to Winning and Nothing is Impossible Homepage</font></a> Copyright &copy; 2008   Codex-m. All Rights Reserved</p>

</div></div></div>

<!– End #footer –>
By default, Google Blogger may or may not use hyperlinks in a post title pointing to the exact post URL. Find out if your blog templates have this type of problem. To minimize duplicate content, it is good to limit this to three to four posts. Since you are using a blog structure, your post will appear on the home page as well.
The problem starts when the post title is not linked to the post URL. In Google, it is the home page that will rank, not your post URL. This means that visitors cannot find the exact information, since the home page will change after you load it with a new post.
To prevent this from happening if your post title on the front page is not hyperlinked to the post URLs,  find this piece of code in the template:

<!– Begin .post –>
<div class="post"><a name="<$BlogItemNumber$>"></a>
<BlogItemTitle>
<h3 class="post-title">
<BlogItemUrl><a href="<$BlogItemUrl$>" title="external link"></BlogItemUrl>
<$BlogItemTitle$>
<BlogItemUrl></a></BlogItemUrl>
</h3>
</BlogItemTitle>

Replace it with:

<!– Begin .post –>

<div class="post"><a name="<$BlogItemNumber$>"></a>

<BlogItemTitle>
<h3 class="post-title">
<a href="<$BlogItemPermalinkURL$>"><$BlogItemTitle$></a>
</h3>
</BlogItemTitle>
Typically other templates will use H2 or H4 headings; in the above example, the post title is hyperlinked using an H3 heading.
Once you have done that, the post title shown in any sections (front page or archived page) will be hyperlinked pointing to the specific and exact post URL.
SUMMARY: There are only three things you need to seriously tweak to make your blog search engine friendly:
  1. Title tags.
  2. Meta description
  3. Internal links

Remember that these are just onsite factors. The primary driver for ranking is links pointing to your blog from other domains, especially if they use keywords in the anchor text. Good luck!

GTA 5

Every main GTA game has, after some form of delay, made its way to PC. There’s every reason to expect Grand Theft Auto V will do the same. But while you won’t ever hear Rockstar say that, you will be able to glean tantalising hints from their job openings. Rockstar Leeds recently posted a listing for a Graphic Programmer, whose responsibilities would include bringing the studio’s “latest titles” to PC.
“Rockstar Leeds are currently looking for a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform. Working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio’s uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible.”
The posting also makes mention of “working with skilled developers on Next Generation games”, which suggests that Rockstar are planning to support the PC well into the life-cycle of the upcoming console boxes. Of course, they could win themselves a whole bunch of good will if they just said that directly to PC fans, maybe using words instead of dispassionate silence.
Let’s take a look at which of Rockstar’s “latest” released and announced titles have yet to make their way to PC:
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • Red Dead Redemption
Personally, given the choice, I’d probably prefer for an RDR release to finally make its way to us. But then, I do have an unreasonable amount of love for Westerns. As always, the safe bet is on Grand Theft Auto V joining its PC brethren the standard six or so months after its console release.

WOW! What a day! With the new Gameplay Video released earlier today, Game Informer followed it up with Two New Articles. They got the chance to sit down with producer and lead mission designer Imran Sarwar to ask him a series of questions.

The first article is all about Customization, where discussions about guns and cars come into play. The second article was about Combat and Cover, and how they improved each by using ideas from past games to help evolve the combat from GTAIV.

Both are short and worth a read.

In addition to the new articles, 15 images made their way to the internet today to go along with the new Gameplay Video.
Rumors and leaks of Grand Theft Auto 5 details have slowly began to fill the vacuum of information surrounding GTA5. This page collects unconfirmed -- but plausible -- Grand Theft Auto 5 rumors, along with appropriate sources for each.

On November 7th, GamingIllustrated claimed to have leaked information from the December 2012 issue of Game Informer. The information supposedly included Albert DeSilva (a half-American/half-Puerto Rican 42 year old) and Dougie Vejo (a youthful criminal) as playable characters in addition to a mission called Alimony. [1]
The rumor was quickly debunked by Game Informer staff, including senior features editor Matt Helgeson, who said on Twitter "there's a supposed 'leak' of info from our GTA V cover story going around that is total bulls***." [2]
Actual news and details about Grand Theft Auto V will be available on IGN the week of November 12th, including a live rewind theater of the second trailer on November 14th. [3]

Vehicle List Leak

On May 15, 2012, it was discovered that the Max Payne 3 disc may have information on Grand Theft Auto V's vehicles buried in its source code. This has happened before with Bully and Red Dead having source code that contained Grand Theft Auto information.[4]
A full list of vehicle names has been extracted from the code and posted below.

Ex-Rockstar Information Leak

An Examiner article publicized a large chunk of GTA5-related rumors, stating the following:
"It has recently been brought to our attention that a poster over on the official GameSpot forums have posted a massive list of unreleased information about the future title, Grand Theft Auto V. Through a post, that has since been deleted by the forum moderators over on the GameSpot forum, along with the poster, a user by the name of Gloggle has revealed that he is a friend of an ex-RockStar employee that was fired for misconduct. Now, it seems that the ex-RockStar employee now has the intentions of leaking information on GTA V."[9]
As for the information that was listed, you can find the post as a whole below or you can view a Google cache version here.
Warning: Number 8 on the list contains spoilers of past Rockstar titles (RDR and L.A Noire).
1. The protagonist will be one character, and one character alone. His name is (as some rumours said) Albert De Silva. He's a half hispanic man who was once part of a crime family in Vice City. He decided to settle down and have kids in Los Santos. He has one son called Kevin De Silva who is your stereotypical CoD player. He's lazy, useless and shouts racial abuse online and is really into FPS games. Kevin does admire his Dad though.
2. Multiplayer will hold 32 people on the Xbox and PS3. I wasn't told how many were able to be on the PC. Just like in RDR, players will be able to form Gangs. These gangs are not ranked through XP anymore, but via Reputation. Instead of gang hideouts, you can do jobs that range from robbing a launderette to breaking into a military base and stealing state-of-the-art weaponary. The Gang leader has much more control over his or her gang by being able to rank members of their gang and setting more specific objectives to specific members of their gang. Gangs can have their own terratory but this only applies to areas inside the city of Los Santos.
3. The map is about 5x as large as the GTA IV map and the City of Los Santos takes up just under half of this area (so it's a bit bigger than 2 GTA IV Liberty Cities). The map is (like most GTAs) seperated into three different sections.
4. Planes are flyable, they range from World War 2 fighter planes to Private Jets.
5. Cars and guns are customisable to an extent, for example, you can customise a gun to have a supressor on it and you can install nitrous into cars.

Here's some stuff you might like:

1. The protagonist is the "rich guy" from the GTA V debut trailer. You get to learn more about this man in the second when he talks about his troubles. You only see the protagonist twice in the trailer. First time is the side of his face and second time is when he is driving a Deceptor (Audi R8). The people robbing the jewellery store are just with the protagonist. He is driving the van ready to get away.
2. Gunfights are more realistic. When you are shooting a gun out of a window of a car, depending on how fast it's going you will have troubles aiming due to shaking cameras.
3. The game is due in May 2013. A more specific date has not been decided because the game is still needing 6 months to be fully developed. They will have a playable demo at E3.
4. Police chases are now way more than either running or driving. Depending on how wanted you are, police may bring out riot shields and flash bangs.
5. When someone reaches 4 star wanted level, there will be a radio warning on some stations.
6. Radio stations now do traffic reports that are actually correct. So if you don't know what route to take, you can check the traffic reports on your phone or the radio.
7. The in-game TV now has many more channels.
8. The protagonist DOES NOT die unlike in Red Dead Redemption and L.A. Noire.
9. The underworld actually has a working economy that you can contribute to by buying and selling drugs, weapons and illegal cars in single player.
10. The protagonist can take drugs which will have some effects. But smoking weed on the streetwalk will lead to getting a one star wanted level.
11. Police cars will go after you if you're obviousely breaking the speed limit. Having high speed crashes will also damage your health.

Wanted levels:

1 star - police follow you on foot and try to make an arrest. No sirens, no car chases (unless you are speeding).
2 star - police will still attempt to make an arrest. If a weapon is drawn then the police will begin opening fire. Police will use stun guns if a weapon is not drawn.
3 star - Chases begin and the police don't care how they stop you, they just want to do it.
4 star - road traps, radio stations and much more hostile police.Even when you have evaded them, they will still search for 24 in-game hours for someone matching your description.
5 star - shoot to kill, arrest only if it's made very possible. Even when you have evaded them, they will still search for 48 in-game hours for someone matching your description. Few missions become unavailable if you are wanted.
6 star - military vehicles come after you. Even when you have evaded them, they will still search for 72 in-game hours for someone matching your description. Some missions become unavailable if you are wanted.

make money online

Making money from your website using advertising

You have managed to get your website to that magical point where you have established popularity, traffic, loyalty and a community of fans. Your site contains a wealth of information, resources and services that you provide free because that’s just the kind of person you are. You may not have intended to make money from your site but now that you have an audience you realise that it’s possible, or perhaps you have to start thinking about generating income because your costs to manage the site have increased and it’s starting to hurt.
You have been diligent over the years to build up your community, but now you wonder how to go about making some revenue by leveraging this audience (as the marketers would say, you want to monetise your site). Maybe you have some big dreams and plan to one day generate advertising income from your new web project. This is a very common plan for online business given people tend to expect information and services to be free on the web. Advertising may be one of the only revenue generation strategies available to you.
How much traffic do I have to have to make money?
In my experience once you have about 500-1000 unique visitors per day to your site *at least* before you can start to make real money. You can make chimps change from day one from your 50 hits, but this article is targeted at those that have a larger audience, or perhaps are constructing a business plan (either real or in your head) and would like to know how to go about monetising your website. If you get more then 1000 unique visitors a day chances are you already make money from your site (if not you should be!) but my points are still relevant.
As per usual I will illustrate my article using real world examples from what I did to make money. Over about five years I managed a hobby site that started off as a very local site focusing on people in my area that played the game Magic: The Gathering. I wrote reports and did news coverage for the game. Later I expanded the site to Australia and eventually opened it to the world although it remained mostly Australian with a good chunk of Asians and New Zealanders.
Banner programs
At around the time I was getting 500 unique visitors a day I decided to start playing with advertising methods. This was before the advent of Google Adsense (more on this later) but there were many banner programs available that paid either on cost per click (CPC) or per impression basis. An impression is a banner being displayed to a user once, a click is someone clicking the banner and visiting the site being advertised.
These networks act as a middle man between business that want to advertise and people like me that have an audience and want to make some money by displaying banners. Unfortunately these programs display banners that often don’t match your audience. I tried a few but it was a short lived experiment that made me a few dollars if that.
I recommend you avoid any banner programs. If you are confused about what I am talking about regarding banner programs take a look at Burst Media to get a grasp of how they work. For small sites they just don’t make much money. For large sites there are much better ways to make money. I’m sure there are people out there that make good money from these programs (I’m sure the program owners do!) but in my experience a little effort to find the right type of advertising can yield much better results.
I decided the best way to make money was to really leverage the demographics of my audience. I had a fairly focused niche, card game playing young males. I started by emailing all the local and international card game shops and asked if they were interested in exposure to my market. Instantly I had responses but I had to come up with a pricing structure first.
How much should you charge?
By this time my site was getting close to 1000 unique visitors per day, with about 300,000 impressions per month. I had done my research and I knew that advertising on websites was usually via a standard 468×60 banner so I would start with that. I also knew that many companies charged by what is called CPM or cost per 1000 impressions. Back then this was by far the most commonly used scale for pricing of web advertising and you could expect to earn anywhere from $0.10 to $10.00 CPM. I never liked this method of advertising because it didn’t guarantee any visitors. Charging by click-throughs is a far better method, but didn’t become mainstream until later.
I decided that in order to keep my advertisers I had to offer value so I went for a blanket approach. I started charging a flat rate of $30 per month to have a banner on my site which offered as many impressions that my traffic could provide. I signed up my first few advertisers at this rate.
Banner management software
In order to “rotate” different banners across my site I needed some special software that would dynamically place banners. This allowed me to have more than one advertiser banner in a single location so I could optimise my adspace and make sure my audience didn’t get too bored from seeing the same banner over and over again.
Let me save you some time, phpAdsNew is the best banner management software out there. It’s under an open source license and has all the features you could ever wish for at a price you can’t beat, it’s free. If you don’t believe me and absolutely have to try searching elsewhere try this category at the PHP Resource Index.
There is a learning curve with phpAdsNew and you do have to install it on your own server. If you are like me and you do things like this yourself most of the time you shouldn’t have too much trouble. Otherwise you might try contacting your favourite ITGeek and get them to give you a hand.
Statistics are important
The best feature with phpAdsNew is that it allows you to provide a unique user login for your advertisers to check their banner statistics in real time. This means at any point in time they can learn how many impressions and clicks their banners are receiving from your site.
Before you start searching for advertisers you should be very familiar with the statistics of your site. Do you know how many unique visitors you get? How many hits you get? How many impressions? Do you even know what the differences are between these? Try this stats terminology primer on for size if you don’t.
Most web servers come with a statistics package. Ask your web host if you don’t know. The most common are Awstats (demo) and Webalizer (demo) which often are preinstalled on many hosting packages. Become familiar with these packages so you can accurately assess your site traffic.
Increasing ad revenue
I now had the foundations laid and was serving the ads of my first few advertisers. From the point onwards I went to work attracting more advertisers by directly emailing North American online card stores and other related sites. I kept an excel file to track which websites I had emailed and their responses so I could follow up in a timely manner.
I created new banner positions and started initiatives like a newsletter to generate more revenue. I created monthly packages that combined newsletter advertising and different banner positions and offered them at $500 per quarter. I increased the top prime banner position fee to $50 per month and started offering a tower banner position for $50 as well.
Eventually I had to limit the number of banners I could take in the prime positions to avoid dilution. I had a guarantee in place that offered at least 30,000 impressions per month (averaging 40,000-60,000) to advertisers so that they always received a good equivalent CPM rate. I even had some advertisers purchase the rights to “own” a position for a certain period to make sure no other advertisers banners would be displayed.
Eventually I reached a point where I was averaging $500 per month and peaked at $1000 in one month. Some advertisers came and went quickly but many stayed loyal and in fact still advertise today though I sold the site a long time ago. The niche for the site was so focused that it became the pre-eminent site for Australia in it’s marketplace and consequently some Australian advertisers simply stuck their banners up as a branding exercise. They knew that the exposure from the site would help to align their business as one of the pre-eminent retailers or event organisers for the game. Some advertisers stopped caring about click through stats and kept advertising purely for the branding exposure.
Google adsense
At some point Google Adsense popped up and I was in with other early adopters to try it out. My results were okay. The money wasn’t nearly as good as the established relationships with advertisers I had, however the ads being displayed were a lot more targeted than banner networks I had tested early on.
I eventually stopped using Adsense because I could better monetise the adspace with my traditional advertisers. However that was before Google went to work providing such a variety of banner sizes and display options. Nowadays Google Adsense is a viable income source for many websites so I definitely suggest you look into it as a possible option for generating revenue, but remember it’s not the only means and you can earn more if you get busy chasing targeted advertisers.
Ongoing maintenance
I wouldn’t call web advertising income passive, but it sure is close. The systems I had in place handled everything automatically. While I did have to manually create advertiser accounts, pursue advertisers and control billing, once the systems were in place, in particular phpAdsNew, I didn’t have to do much. Of course depending on your website often the maintenance of your community is were the labour is involved, but chances are if you started the site you either enjoy it or have plans in place to eventually remove yourself from the maintenance role.
In the end I sold my site but if it wasn’t for the advertiser revenue my asset would not have been valued nearly as highly as the final sale price. Investing in advertising is like investing in any asset, the time and labour you put in today will lead to benefits in the future.

make money online

Notice that ways to make money with a website are different from ways to make more money from it. Methods to increase your traffic or click-through rate will help you make more money, but they do not represent a method of making money per se.
For example, one could suggest that blending AdSense ads with the content is a way to make money from a website. In reality it’s not; it’s just a way to make more money by improving your ad click-through rate. The real monetization method behind it is a PPC ad network.
The list is divided into direct and indirect methods, and examples and links are provided for each point. Enjoy!

Direct Methods

1. PPC Advertising Networks
Google AdSense is the most popular option under this category, but there are also others. Basically you need to sign up with the network and paste some code snippets on your website. The network will then serve contextual ads (either text or images) relevant to your website, and you will earn a certain amount of money for every click.
The profitability of PPC advertising depends on the general traffic levels of the website and, most importantly, on the click-through rate (CTR) and cost per click (CPC). The CTR depends on the design of the website. Ads placed abode the fold or blended with content, for instance, tend to get higher CTRs. The CPC, on the other hand, depends on the nice of the website. Mortgages, financial products and college education are examples of profitable niches (clicks worth a couple of dollars are not rare), while tech-related topics tend to receive a smaller CPC (sometimes as low as a couple of cents per click).
The source of the traffic can also affect the overall CTR rate. Organic traffic (the one that comes from search engines) tends to perform well because these visitors were already looking for something, and they tend to click on ads more often. Social media traffic, on the other hand, presents terribly low CTRs because these visitors are tech-savvy and they just ignore ads.
List of popular CPC advertising networks:
2. CPM Advertising Networks
CPM advertising networks behave pretty much as PPC networks, except that you get paid according to the number of impressions (i.e., page views) that the ads displayed on your site will generate. CPM stands for Cost per Mille, and it refers to the cost for 1,000 impressions.
A blog that generates 100,000 page views monthly displaying an advertising banner with a $1 CPM, therefore, will earn $100 monthly.
CPM rates vary with the network, the position of the ad and the format. The better the network, the higher the CPM rate (because they have access to more advertisers). The closer you put the ad to the top of the page, the higher the CPM. The bigger the format (in terms of pixels), the higher the CPM.
You can get as low as $0,10 and as high as $10 per 1,000 impressions (more in some special cases). CPM advertising tends to work well on websites with a high page views per visitor ratio (e.g., online forums, magazines and so on).
List of popular CPM advertising networks:
3. Direct Banner Advertising
Selling your own advertising space is one of the most lucrative monetization methods. First and foremost because it enables you to cut out the middleman commissions and to determine your own rates. The most popular banner formats on the web are the 728×90 leaderboard, the 120×600 skyscraper, the 300×250 rectangle and the 125×125 button.
The downside of direct banner advertising is that you need to have a big audience to get qualified advertisers, and you will need to spend time managing the sales process, the banners and the payments.

4. Text Link Ads
After Google declared that sites selling text links without the nofollow tag would be penalized, this monetization method became less popular.
Many website owners are still using text links to monetize their sites, though, some using the nofollow tag and some not.
The advantage of this method is that it is not intrusive. One can sell text links directly through his website or use specialized networks like Text-Link-Ads and Text-Link-Brokers to automate the process.
Text link marketplaces and networks:
5. Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is a very popular practice on the Internet. Under this system you have a merchant that is willing to let other people (the affiliates) sell directly or indirectly its products and services, in exchange for a commission. Sometimes this type of advertising is also called CPA (cost per action) or CPL (cost per lead) based.
Affiliates can send potential customers to the merchant using several tools, from banners to text links and product reviews.
In order to find suitable affiliate programs you can turn to individual companies and publishers like Dreamhost and SEOBook, or join affiliate marketplaces and networks.
List of popular affiliate marketplaces and networks:
6. Monetization Widgets
The latest trend on the web are widgets that let you monetize your website. Examples include Widgetbucks and SmartLinks. Some of these services operate under a PPC scheme, others behave like text link ads, others yet leverage affiliate links.
Their main differentiator, however, is the fact that they work as web widgets, making it easier for the user to plug and play the service on its website.
List of companies that provide monetization widgets:
7. Sponsored Reviews
PayPerPost pioneered this model, with much controversy on the beginning (related to the fact that they did not require disclosure on paid posts). Soon other companies followed, most notably Sponsored Reviews and ReviewMe, refining the process and expanding the paid blogging model.
Joining one of these sponsored reviews marketplaces will give you the opportunity to write sponsored posts on a wide range of topics. Not all bloggers are willing to get paid to write about a specific product or website (because it might compromise the editorial credibility), but the ones who do are making good money out of it.
If your blog has a big audience you could also offer sponsored reviews directly, cutting off the commissions of the middleman.
List of sponsored reviews and paid blogging networks:
8. RSS Feed Ads
With the quick adoption of the RSS technology by millions of Internet users, website owners are starting to find ways to monetize this new content distribution channel.
Feedburber already has its own publisher network, and you can sign-up to start displaying CPM based advertising on your feed footer. Bidvertiser recently introduced a RSS feed ad option as well, with a PPC scheme.
Finally, some blogs are also opting to sell banners or sponsored messages on their feed directly. John Chow and Marketing Pilgrim are two examples.

9. Sponsors for Single Columns or Events
If you website has specific columns or events (e.g., a weekly podcast, an interview series, a monthly survey, a special project) you could find companies to sponsor them individually.
This method increases the monetization options for website owner, while giving advertisers the possibility to target a more specific audience and with a reduced commitment.
Mashable illustrates the case well. They have several advertising options on the site, including the possibility to sponsor specific columns and articles, including the “Daily Poll” and the “Web 2.0 Invites.”
Problogger also runs group writing projects occasionally, and before proceeding he publicly announce the project asking for sponsors.
10.Premium Content
Some websites and blogs give away part of their content for free, and charge for access to the premium content and exclusive tools.
SEOMoz is a good example. They have a very popular blog that gives advice and information on wide range of SEO related topics. On top of that visitors can decide to become premium members. It costs $48 monthly and it grants them access to guides, tools and other exclusive material.
11. Private Forums
While the Internet is populated with free forums, there is also the possibility to create a private one where members need to pay a single or recurring fee to join.

SEO Blackhat
charges $100 monthly from its members, and they have thousands of them. Obviously in order to charge such a price for a forum membership you need to provide real value for the members (e.g., secret techniques, tools, and so on).
Performancing also launched a private forum recently, focused on the networking aspect. It is called The Hive, and the monthly cost is $10.
These are just two examples. There are many possibilities to create a private and profitable forum, you just need to find an appealing angle that will make it worth for the members.
List of popular forum software:
12. Job Boards
All the popular blogs are trying to leverage job boards to make some extra income. Guy Kawasaki, ReadWriteWeb, Problogger… you name it.
Needless to say that in order to create an active and profitable job board you need first to have a blog focused on a specific niche, and a decent amount traffic.
The advantage of this method is that it is passive. Once you have the structure in place, the job listings will come naturally, and you can charge anywhere from $10 up to $100 for each.
List of popular job board software:
13. Marketplaces
Sitepoint is the online marketplace by excellence. Some websites and blogs, however, are trying to replicate that model on a smaller scale.
Depending on your niche, a market place that allows your visitors to buy, sell and trade products could work well. Over the time you could start charging a small fee for new product listings.
The problem with this method is that there are no standard software on the web, so you would need to hire a coder to get a marketplace integrated into your website.
You can see an example of a marketplaces being used on EasyWordpress and on Mashable.
14. Paid Surveys and Polls
There are services that will pay you money to run a small survey or poll on your website. The most popular one is called Vizu Answers.
Basically you need to sign up with them, and select the kind of polls that you want to run your site. Most of these services operate under a CPM model.
15. Selling or Renting Internal Pages
Million Dollar Wiki made this concept popular, but it was being used on the web for a long time around (check Pagerank10.co.uk for instance).
These websites sell for a single fee or rent for a recurring fee internal pages on their domain. Usually they have either high Pagerak or high traffic, so that people purchasing a page will be able to benefit in some way.
Implementing this method on a small blog would be difficult, but the concept is interesting and could be explored further.
16. Highlighted Posts from Sponsors
Techmeme probably pioneered this idea, but somehow it has not spread to other websites. The tech news aggregator displays editorial posts on the left column, and on the sidebar they have a section titled “Techmeme Sponsor Posts.”
On that section posts from the blog of the advertisers get highlighted, sending qualified traffic their way. Considering that the monthly cost for one spot is $5000 and that they have around 6 sponsors at any given time, it must be working well.
17. Donations
Placing a “Donate” link or button on a website can be an efficient way to earn money, especially if your blog is on a niche where readers learn and gain value from your content.
Personal development and productivity blogs, for instance, tend to perform well with donation based systems (one good example being Steve Pavlina).
A small variation of this method appeared sometime ago with the Buy Me a Beer plugin. This WordPress plugin enables you to insert a customized message at the bottom of each article, asking the readers to chip in for a beer or coffee.
18. In-text Adverting
In-text adverting networks like Kontera and Vibrant Media will place sponsored links inside your text. These links come with a double underline to differentiate them from normal links, and once the user rolls the mouse over the link the advertising will pop. Should the user click on it the site owner will make some money.
Some people make good money with this method, but others refrain from using it due to its intrusiveness. It is also interesting to note that very few mainstream websites have experimented with in-text advertising.
19. Pop-ups and Pop-unders
Pop-ups are a common yet annoying form of advertising on the Internet. If you are just trying to make a much money as possible from your website, you could experiment with them.
If you are trying to grow the traffic and generate loyal visitors, however, you probably should stay away from them. Just consider the hundreds of pop-up blockers out there: there is a reason why they are so popular.
Ad networks that use pop-ups:
20. Audio Ads
Also called PPP (Pay Per Play), this advertising method was introduce by Net Audio Ads. the concept is pretty simple: play a small audio advertising (usually 5 seconds) every time a visitor enters into your website. The user should not be able to stop it, creating a 100% conversion rate based on unique visitors.
The company is still rolling tests, but some users are reporting to get from a $4 to a $6 CPM. Regardless of the pay rate, though, this is a very intrusive form of advertising, so think twice before using it.
21. Selling the Website
Selling your website could be your last resource, but it has the potential to generate a big sum of money in a short period of time.
Market places on online forums like DigitalPoint and Sitepoint are always active with website buyers and sellers. Keep in mind that they most used parameter to determine the value of a website is the monthly revenue that it generates, multiplied by a certain number (the multiplier can be anything from 5 to 30, depending on the expectations of the seller, on the quality of the site, on the niche and other factors).
Some people also make money trading and flipping websites. They either create them from scratch or buy existing ones, and after some revamping they sell them for a profit.

Indirect Methods

22. Selling an Ebook
Perhaps one of the oldest money making strategies on the web, using a website to promote a related ebook is a very efficient way to generate revenue.
You could either structure the website around the book itself, like SEOBook.com, or launch the ebook based on the success of the website, like FreelanceSwitch did we the book How to be a Rockstar Freelancer.

23. Selling a Hardcover Book
Many authors and journalists leverage their blogs or websites to sell copies of hardcover books. Examples include Guy Kawasaki, Seth Godin and Malcolm Gladwell.
While most of these people were already renowned authors before they created their website, one could also follow the other way around. Lorelle VanFossen did exactly that with her Blogging Tips book. First she built her authority on the subject via her blog, and afterwards she published the book.
List of self publishing and publishing services:
24. Selling Templates or WordPress Themes
As more and more people decide to get an online presence, website templates and WordPress themes become hotter and hotter.
On this segment you have mainstream websites like TemplateMonster, as well as individual designers who decide to promote and sell their work independently.
Brian Gardner and Unique Blog Designs are two examples of websites that make money with the sales of premium and custom WordPress themes.
25. Offering Consulting and Related Services
Depending on your niche, you could make money by offering consulting and related services. If you are also the author of your blog, the articles and information that you will share will build your profile and possibly certify your expertise on that niche, making it easier to gain customers.
Chris Garrett used a similar strategy. First he created a highly influential blog on the blogging and new media niche, and afterwards he started offering consulting services to clients with related problems and needs.
26. Creating an Email List or Newsletter
Email lists and newsletters represent one of the most powerful marketing and money making tools on the Internet. They offer incredible conversion rates, and the possibility to call people to action in a very efficient way.
Creating a big list is a difficult task though, so if you have a popular website you could leverage it to increase the number of subscribers on your list.
Yaro Starak is a famous Internet marketer, and if you visit his blog you will notice that right on top he has a section encouraging visitors to subscribe to his email newsletter. Yaro generates five figures in revenues each month from his email newsletters, proving that this method works.
List of software to manage email newsletters:
27. Mentoring programs
People are willing to pay for someone or something that will teach them and give them knowledge (as opposed to mere information). Education is one of the biggest industries in the world, and the online landscape behaves in a similar way.
Creating a mentoring program related to the niche of your website could be very profitable if you manage to structure and promote it adequately. There is a wide range of media and tools that you can use to deliver the information, from text articles to audio and video lessons.
Brian Clark leveraged the success of Copyblogger to launch a mentoring program teaching people how to build membership and how to sell content online. The program is titled Teaching Sells, and it costs $97 monthly. Sounds expensive, but they have over 1,000 members.
28. Creating a conference around the website
If your website takes off and becomes an authority on its niche, you could create a conference around it. Depending on the size of your audience, the event could attract thousands of people, and you could make money directly from conference passes and sponsors.
Search Engine Land, for instance, created a series of conferences that visit several cities on the United States and on other countries as well. The conferences are called Search Marketing Expo, and the tickets and passes cost thousands of dollars.

viks vapour up

Twelve Surprising Uses for Vicks VapoRub
1. Decongest Your Chest
The most common use of Vicks is to decongest your chest and throat area. When applied to the upper chest, it provides excellent relief of cough and congestion symptoms.
2. On Your Tootsies
Applying Vicks to your feet provides nighttime cough relief. Generously rub VapoRub all over your feet and cover them with socks. Your cough will subside.
3. Achy Breaky Muscles
Vicks relieves sore, overworked muscles. It increases circulation and provides almost instant aid. Use a generous portion and apply it over the aching area.
4. Get Rid of Nasty Nail Fungus
Rub VapoRub on your toenails if you suspect you have a fungus. Within days, the nail will turn dark—this means the Vicks is killing the fungus. As your toenail grows out, the dark part will grow off and you will have fungus-free feet. Keep applying the ointment over a period of two weeks to fully cleanse nail beds of any remaining bacteria.
5. Stop Your Cat from Scratching
To prevent Miss Kitty from ruining your doors, walls, and windows, apply a small amount of VapoRub to these areas. Cats detest the smell and will steer clear. Vicks can also be applied to your arms and legs if your kitty is prone to scratching you.
6. Pet Pee-Pee Deterrent
If your dog or cat is not yet potty trained, put an open bottle of Vicks on the area he or she likes to mark as their territory. The smell will discourage them from lifting their legs and wetting your rug.
7. Headaches Be Gone
Rub a small amount of Vicks VapoRub on your temples and forehead to help relieve headaches. The mentholated scent will release pressure in your head and instantly
relieve pain.
8. Humidify Your Sleep
Vicks VapoRub can be used in special types of humidifiers and vaporizers. Ensure your humidifier has an aromatherapy compartment before using. The humidifier

Fruits for better life

1. Cranberries
One of the natural health success stories of the past few years have been cranberries. Cranberries have proved their value in preventing urinary tract infections, such as cystitis. Many people now eat them every day as a first line of defense against these painful and dangerous conditions. The powerful ingredient is a flavonoid proanthocyanidins, which is more abundant in cranberries than in most other fruit. Proanthocyanidins prevent bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract wall, and also prevents infections of the mouth and stomach in the same way. Cranberries are packed with vitamins C and K, magnesium, and fiber which helps to sweep away fat. As a natural diuretic it also helps with water retention.
2. Kiwi Fruit
Bite for bite, there is more vitamin C in a ripe kiwi fruit than in most other citrus fruits. And although vitamin C is well known for warding off colds, its effects go much further than that. It protects the body from all kinds of infections and inflammation, and is particularly effective against respiratory disease. Scientists have found it helps reduce coughing, wheezing, and rhinitis. People who eat kiwi fruit are less likely than others to suffer from asthma attacks, but it shouldn’t be given to very small children as it can cause allergies. It is also good for the heart and vision. Eating kiwi fruits regularly has also been found to lower blood cholesterol and reduce the risk of blot clots.
3. Oranges
Oranges are known for their immune boosting power. A medium-size orange provides more than the average daily requirement of vitamin C, which fights off infections and strengthens the body’s defenses. Particularly effective against colds and other respiratory ailments, including asthma, oranges have also been found to reduce the risk of stomach ulcers, kidney stones, and certain cancers. Their natural sugars help diabetics maintain their blood glucose levels. And a teaspoon of grated organic orange peel added to food can reduce cholesterol.
4. Raspberries
The flavonoids called anthocyanins that give a raspberry its exquisite color are also responsible for some of its most valuable qualities. They have antimicrobial effects that can prevent the proliferation of bacteria and fungi in the digestive system. One of these, Candida albicans, causes the irritating vaginal infection called thrush and has also been linked to digestive disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome. Like all berries, raspberries are also packed with antioxidants that promote overall health in the long term. They protect eyesight; reduce the risk of certain cancers, and their soluble fiber content helps to keep blood sugar levels steady, which in turn aids in weight reduction.
All four of the fruits mentioned above are citrus fruits. Citrus fruits contain limonin, which is currently being researched for its ant-cancer and cholesterol-lowering possibilities.

Plan crash lands at san franciso ariport

Fire fighters and rescue teams are at the scene of the downed Asiana Airlines Flight 214, which had taken off from South Korea's capital, Seoul. The cause of the crash is unclear. Early indications suggest the plane came in too short and hit the seawall at the airport. Eight adults and two children who suffered critical injuries are being treated at San Francisco General Hospital, hospital spokesperson Rachael Kagan said. A fireball erupted after the Boeing 777 airliner hit the runway hard around 11:30 a.m., rocked back and forth, spun around, sheered off the plane's tail. Scores of passengers and crew climbed out -- some jumping, others sliding down evacuation chutes as flames and smoke billowed from the aircraft's windows. Two people were found dead outside the plane, according to San Francisco fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White. "My understanding is thatthey were found on the runway," she said. Both were Chinese passport holders, the South Korean transport ministry said. Somehow, 305 others survived. Said San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee: "This could have been much worse." After approaching the airport across San Francisco Bay, the plane appeared to strike the edge of the approach area of the runway. The tail came off and the aircraft left a trail of debris before coming to rest beside the runway. One survivor said the pilot seemed to be trying to gain height just before the aircraft struck the runway. There was no immediate indication of the cause of the crash and federal officials were traveling from Washington to investigate. Pictures taken by survivors immediately after the crash showed passengers emerging from the wrecked plane and hurrying away. TV footage later showed the fuselage of the Boeing 777 blackened by fire and the interior apparently gutted.
FAA spokesman says it is unclear how many people were on board the flight from Seoul; TV images show extensive fire damage.
"It was coming in very nicely," he told CNN. But as it landed he witnessed a larger plume of smoke from the landing gear than is usually seen. After a "pop" he saw a brief fire take hold at which point the plane's tail became detached. "[The plane] lifted and began to cartwheel," Castorani added. Footage of the wreckage confirmed that the tail had come off. The main body of the plane showed extensive fire damage.
Asiana is a South Korean airline, second in size to national carrier Korean Air. It has recently tried to expand its presence in the United States; it has also joined the oneWorld alliance, which is anchored by American Airlines and British Airways. The 777-200 is a long-range plane from Boeing. The twin-engine aircraft is one of the world's most popular long-distance planes and is often used for intercontinental flights of 12 hours or more. The airline's website says its 777s can carry between 246 to 300 passengers.
